In a ceremony on July 8, 2022, the Japanese government conferred the Order of the Rising Sun and Silver Stars to SPI Director Scott Pace. The ceremony was hosted by the Japanese Ambassador to the United States and took place at the Ambassador’s residence. Established in 1875, the honor goes to individuals who have accomplished distinguished achievements in their field.
