Dr. Scott Pace invited to a Strategic Roundtable on Cybersecurity and Resilience of Satellite Systems, hosted by the Czech Embassy

On January 12 2026, Dr.Scott Pace joined a roundtable focused on the cybersecurity and resilience of satellite systems – a critical issue at the intersection of space, security, and international cooperation. The event was hosted by the Embassy of the Czech Republic.

Dr. Pace’s remarks cover cyber threats to space systems, the unique challenges associated with improving space cybersecurity, and potential hard and soft law measures to promote cyber resilience. He recommends further efforts to share real-time threat intelligence, provide interdisciplinary training for experts in satellite systems and cybersecurity, and support capacity building in space cybersecurity for developing space countries.
